Speak Up

Our Kentucky children need a voice. Will you speak for them?

Children in foster care often feel alone and abandoned, without anyone to speak up for them. Their voices can be lost in the system, leaving them without the love and support they desperately need. But now, we have the opportunity to stand up for these children and make a difference in their lives.

“Speak up for people who cannot speak for themselves. Protect the rights of all who are helpless.” – Proverbs 31: 8 (GNT)

By getting involved, you can be the voice they need. Here are four ways you can speak up for them right now: volunteer, foster, donate, and pray. Together, we can bring hope and healing to children who need it most.

Four Ways You Can Speak for Our Children:

Pray

Prayer is the most important thing you can do. Our children, foster parents, staff, and caseworkers all need your prayers. Take time today to pray for children in the foster care system and the adults currently in their lives.

Become a Foster Parent

There simply aren’t enough foster parents for the children in need. You can begin the foster parent inquiry here: sunrise.org/apply-online/

Volunteer

We always need volunteers! Hands-on work is a great way to get to know our ministry, and kids, better! Let us know you are interested at sunrise.org/contact/

Donate

A donation to Sunrise will have a lasting impact on the children in our care. Will you give today? sunrise.org/donate/
