Kentucky children desperately need you. Today. Thousands of Kentucky children, from no fault of their own, have been removed from their homes. Kentucky now ranks 6th in the nation for reported child abuse and neglect. Approximately 9,000 Kentucky children are in out-of-home care to keep them safe and protected.
We bring Christmas to all of our kiddos each year and we need all of you to make it happen. We are asking your church, business, office or team to “adopt” a location as a team to bring a consistent Christmas experience for every kiddo. Host an outing or party, Sponsor a locations wish lists,($150 each) Collect Stocking stuffers, Gift Cards to give to each of our kids, or start a new tradition, of a “white out” party, where new cold weather items are donated.
All men who give $25 or more by June 30 will receive a joke written by one of our Sunrise kids along with a sweet treat. We hope these gifts will put a smile on your face and be a reminder that you are truly putting smiles on the faces of the boys and girls we serve.

It’s no small task to cover the cost of and feed around 90 youth in our four residential programs (including one specialized psychiatric treatment facility) each day.
For the month of February, will you consider helping sow the seeds of a brand-new ministry at Sunrise? Recently established in Bronston, Kentucky, the New Start Adolescent Addiction Treatment Center will provide therapeutic treatment for boys ages 12 to 17 who have alcohol and/or drug addictions.
